The Database module of GrowIt Works is the heart of
the program with
numerous professional features including:
- 27 separate databases of plant species supplied with
the program.
- The 27 supplied databases contain 15,000+ records
of plant credentials.
- 6000+ (256 colour) pointers to plant images.
- Search by common or botanical names
and many other criteria.
- Do Query (filter) searches on plant attributes. (very
fast memory searches)
- Each record contains 21 fields of plant information.
- Databases are fully editable and records can be changed
and new records added.
- Open your own Custom databases, as many as your hard
disk will hold.
- Each and every database can contain up to 5440 records.
- Import your own graphics in any of 29 graphics file
formats in 256 colours.
- Print plant records together with a user defined letter
head if required.
- Print out Fact sheets for nursery customers together
with the graphic and your letterhead.
- Print preview for your your fact sheets.
- Full colour graphics for maintenance topics are printable
for nursery customers.

The Database module has a Multiple Document Interface
allowing you to open numerous databases on the screen at the
same time.This very powerful and flexible module does its searches
in memory both of individual databases and also global searches
of the databases. You can copy records to a Select database
for later viewing and printing and you can seed new databases
using any existing record. You can also copy any record to the
clipboard.
Assign any of the 24 User Database icons to your
own databases or to any database you choose. Maintain your clients
records in their own databases and assigned to their own icons.
The database module is a very powerful and useful tool
for maintaining your plant information and those of your clients.
