The Diary module of GrowIt Works takes on the Ring Binder
metaphor so that using the Diary and jumping from module to module
is very simple indeed. The Diary appears just like a hard copy
ringbinder diary would. Clicking on one of the coloured tabs
on the side of the Diary turns the pages of the diary to a new
module. There is a Spell Checker in the Daily Diary and the ToDo
modules.
There are Four diary modules:
- The Daily Diary
- The Address Book
- The ToDo Module
- The Cash Book Module
The Daily Diary:
The daily diary is just that, a diary for entering daily, weekly
or monthly entries. A Calendar assists you to select a date to
view, and the Index box allows you to thumb through previous
entries. All entries can be Searched, Edited and Printed, and
the clipboard functions allow you to transfer data to other modules.
The Address Book:
The Address Book allows you to keep Name, Address and Telephone
information just like the address pages of a hard copy diary.
If you have a Modem the Automatic Dialing feature of this module
will call any telephone number in your Address Book. The Address
Book supports Search, Print and Clipboard functions for transferring
data to other modules.
The ToDo Module:
The ToDo Module allows you to enter (using a calendar to select
dates) things todo and events that will take place at a future
time. You can set Reminders to sound an Alarm when the time arrives
to expedite a ToDo event. Search, Print and Clipboard functions
allow the tranferring of data to other modules.
The Cash Book:
The Cash Book module is just like a simple cash book entry page
in a diary. Enter the cost of Plants, Manure, Tools, Labour etc
and the Cash Book will automatically Total each page and keep
a Running Total of all expenditure to date. The Cashbook supports
Search, Print and Clipboard functions to transfer data to other
modules. Supports Dollars, Pounds and Euro's.
Included in the Diary module is a Loan Repayment Calculator and
Amorisation Schedule for calculating the costs of a given loan
with a given interest rate over a given period. |
